The purpose of this Blog

This blog is to detail my 50 years (1973 - 2023) with a 1928 Chevrolet tourer, affectionately called "The Red Chev".

The acquisition, restoration, improvements and my experiences over the years are covered in as much detail as I can remember.

Some of the later postings include car club outings and other vintage car items that I hope will be of interest to people.

If you have the time, scroll back to where it all began in 1973 and follow the journey so far.

Thanks for dropping by.

Regards Ray Dean

1933 Chev Coupe/ Ute

Found this on Aussie Ebay , asking price $12,500 or offer.

And the blurb reads................................

On offer is my 1933 Chevrolet Coupe which was converted to a ute in 1940, this is a very rare coupe and is an original right hand drive vehicle which still retains all its original Id tags.

This would be a great vehicle to restore back to original as a coupe or as it stands today as only 12 utes where built, making this a very rare vehicle indeed, but its totally up to the purchaser if to restore or rod it which would also be a great project as it is so original.

The Chev is very complete and I do have a replacement grill which i will negotiate a price to the winning buyer.

Inspection is welcome and encouraged as you won't find too many in this condition and as complete and original right hand drive.

The Chev is sold as is and in its current condition.
