The purpose of this Blog

This blog is to detail my 50 years (1973 - 2023) with a 1928 Chevrolet tourer, affectionately called "The Red Chev".

The acquisition, restoration, improvements and my experiences over the years are covered in as much detail as I can remember.

Some of the later postings include car club outings and other vintage car items that I hope will be of interest to people.

If you have the time, scroll back to where it all began in 1973 and follow the journey so far.

Thanks for dropping by.

Regards Ray Dean

Dandenong 6th Annual All Holden Car Show

The weather was excellent for the 6th annual Dandenong all Holden car show on Sunday 6th April at the Dandenong show grounds.

The event is for Holdens or Holden bodied cars of all ages. I attended with a few other members of the DVHCC http://www.dvhcc.com.au/   and pleased to say our Holden bodied cars were the oldest vehicles at the show.

Would be the biggest collection of Holdens from 1948 through to 2014 that I have seen.

Below I have broken the photos taken into the relevant sections.

To view a particular section, double click on the link.

I hope you enjoy
