The purpose of this Blog

This blog is to detail my 50 years (1973 - 2023) with a 1928 Chevrolet tourer, affectionately called "The Red Chev".

The acquisition, restoration, improvements and my experiences over the years are covered in as much detail as I can remember.

Some of the later postings include car club outings and other vintage car items that I hope will be of interest to people.

If you have the time, scroll back to where it all began in 1973 and follow the journey so far.

Thanks for dropping by.

Regards Ray Dean

Old School Bus - Would make a great project

Found this on Ebay.

What a great project for a motor home this would be.

"This bus is located in Hiawassee Georgia about 90 miles North of Atlanta. I put on a automotive hot rod event there and have been trying to buy this bus from the town. I purchased it from them few weeks ago. I think it is a 1937. They do not have a title but have provided me a bill of sale. This was a one owner bus the town bought new. It is in great shape. I feel with a little work it could be got running. It has been sitting for years on display buy their old school house"
